About the role
- Industrial Controls & Automation (ICA) is looking for enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering graduates and diploma holders who are passionate about machine design and industrial automation. This is a 1-year internship that offers hands-on experience in designing Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), automation equipment, conveyors, fixtures, and robotic systems. Successful candidates will work alongside experienced engineers on live industrial projects.
What you’ll do
- 1.Prepare 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. 2.Assist in the design of SPMs, jigs, fixtures, and automation equipment. 3.Create assembly drawings, part drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM). 4.Support machine assembly, testing, and project execution. 5.Coordinate with production and fabrication teams. Learn industrial automation, robotics, and machine design standards.
What we’re looking for
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Production Engineering.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and build a career in industrial automation.
